Air, perfectly
tuned.
One hidden system that cools, heats, freshens, humidifies, dehumidifies and purifies the air in every room, without a single unit on show.
Far more than air conditioning. A complete indoor climate.
Most homes juggle a boiler, wall-mounted air conditioners, a dehumidifier in the corner and an air purifier on the side table. The new invisible®.ac SDHV Climate System replaces all of them with one quietly engineered system, concealed in ceilings and walls, that keeps temperature, humidity and air quality steady around the clock.
The only thing you will see is a slim, discreet slot outlet. Everything else stays out of sight, leaving period cornicing, bespoke joinery and clean contemporary lines exactly as the designer intended.
Ten reasons to breathe easier at home.
Every feature below works together inside a single concealed system, monitored and managed from your phone. Here is what that means for the way your home feels, day and night, all year round.
Gentle Airflow & Low Noise
Air leaves each outlet at speed, then mixes softly into the room, so you feel even comfort rather than a draught. Inverter-driven fans and noise-reducing ducts keep the system quiet enough for bedrooms and libraries.
Zoned Temperature Control
Set a cool bedroom, a warm study and a comfortable living space at the same time. Each zone runs to its own target, so nobody has to compromise and empty rooms aren’t conditioned unnecessarily.
Steam Humidification
Heating in winter can leave air dry, tight-feeling skin and scratchy eyes. Clean steam humidification restores a comfortable moisture level, which also helps protect fine timber, instruments and artwork.
Dehumidification
In damp British summers and older properties, excess moisture breeds condensation, musty smells and mould. The system draws humidity down to a healthy range, protecting both your home and the people in it.
Smart Fresh Air System
Fresh, filtered outdoor air is brought in continuously. Sensors read conditions inside and out, then adjust the volume automatically, using cooler outside air when it helps and holding back when it would waste energy.
Filter Status Monitoring
A clogged filter quietly raises running costs. The system tracks filter condition in real time and tells you when a change is due, so performance and efficiency never slip.
Abnormality Monitoring
Built-in air sensors keep watch for unusual gas readings and system faults, alerting you straight away on your phone. Peace of mind whether you’re at home, at work or away for the season.
High-Efficiency Filtration
An H11 high-efficiency filter captures fine particles down to 0.3 microns, including pollen, dust and city pollution, so the air circulating through your home is noticeably cleaner.
Safe Purification
Patented photocatalytic technology, activated by light, works continuously to neutralise airborne bacteria and odours, with no harsh chemicals and nothing to add or top up.
Negative Oxygen Ions
Resonant ion technology releases negative oxygen ions, the kind found in forests and by the sea, for air that feels fresh and invigorating in the heart of the city. Ion output has been independently tested by TÜV.
Small ducts. High velocity. Completely invisible.
The SDHV (Small Duct High Velocity) system delivers air through flexible, sound-reducing ducts a fraction of the size of conventional ductwork. They thread through joists and voids with minimal disruption, which is why it suits listed buildings and finished interiors as well as new builds.
Because the ducts are so compact, ceilings can often stay higher than with standard ducted systems. Indoor and outdoor units are fully inverter-controlled for quiet, efficient running.
No hot spots. No cold corners. Just a steady 22°C.
Conventional units push air from one point and leave a room patchy. High-velocity outlets draw the surrounding air into the stream, blending it evenly from floor to ceiling, so the whole space settles at the temperature you set.
A home that looks after its own air.
The system reads indoor temperature, humidity and air quality alongside local weather data, and even tracks sunrise and sunset, so it can anticipate the day ahead rather than simply react to it.
From the app you can set each zone, check filter status and receive alerts wherever you are. Most of the time, though, you won’t need to touch it at all.
Jet-engine science, refined in Cambridge.
The principle behind the system dates back to engineer Calvin D. MacCracken, who noticed how a jet’s thrust mixes the air around it and turned that insight into a better way to heat and cool buildings. invisible®.ac has spent two decades perfecting it.
The idea
MacCracken, later inducted into the ASHRAE Hall of Fame, shows that high-velocity air mixes a room far more evenly than slow, conventional systems.
Refined in Cambridge
invisible®.ac re-engineers the concept in Cambridge with experts in acoustics and aerodynamics, adding near-silent jet airflow and slim, designer outlets.
The complete system
The new SDHV Climate System adds fresh air, humidity control, purification and smart monitoring, now arriving in the UK and installed by ClimaTune.
Where invisible®.ac already lives.
invisible®.ac systems are installed in some of Britain’s most demanding settings, where heritage and design leave no room for visible equipment.

Designed and installed around you
We work alongside homeowners, architects and interior designers from the first drawing to the final handover.
Survey & Design
We visit, listen and assess the building, then design a system around your layout, your interiors and how you actually use each room.
Discreet Installation
Our team routes the slim ducts through existing voids and places each outlet with care, keeping disruption and making-good to a minimum.
Handover & Care
We set up your zones and app, show you everything, and stay on hand for servicing and filter changes for years to come.
Frequently asked questions
What is new compared with the original invisible®.ac system?
The original system delivered discreet heating and cooling. The new SDHV Climate System adds fresh-air ventilation, steam humidification, dehumidification, H11 filtration, purification, negative-ion generation and smart monitoring, all within the same concealed design.
Will I see anything in the room?
Only a slim slot outlet, which can sit in a ceiling, wall or floor and be finished to suit your interior. There are no wall-mounted units, grilles or cassettes.
Is it suitable for period and listed properties?
Yes. The small, flexible ducts can be threaded through existing voids with far less disruption than conventional ductwork, which is why the system is trusted in historic buildings.
How quiet is it?
Very. Inverter-driven fans, noise-reducing ducting and acoustically designed outlets mean it is suitable for bedrooms, studies and libraries.
Can I control it remotely?
Yes. The app lets you set each zone, check air conditions and filter status, and receive alerts from anywhere.
Where do you install?
Across the South of England, including London, Surrey, Essex, Reading and the Cotswolds. Get in touch if you’re further afield.
